iOS 6 Released, Apple Maps Are BRUTAL(solution), No YouTube App(solution
Hey geeks, iOS 6 was released just released to the public. The supported devices are: iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S, 5 (5-pre-loaded), iPad 2&3, iTouch 4g&5g (5g-pre-loaded). Oh, and did I mention the new and 'epic' Apple Maps are a complete fail? And you can't downgrade w/o JailBreaking and voiding your warranty? As you might know, Apple has been using Google Maps since iOS came out, but now they've made their own Maps app. Well, that new Maps gives you lots of bugs, errors, misspellings and wrong locations. For all the bugs click here. Great! Can I Google Maps back? Yup! Go to the Google Maps website on your iDevice's Safari app. A bubble should pop up from your share button telling you that you can install the Google Maps app by adding a shortcut on your Home Screen. Tap that 'Share' button in your Safari Menu, and select 'Add to Home Screen'. Done! Of course, you have to know that this isn't as convenient as a native app (which Google has submitted for approval to the App Store, so it's not out yet) Alternatively, you can also download Bing (with Maps) and some others from the App Store. But pains don't stop here. There's no pre-loaded YouTube app anymore! Surprise! To get it back, just download it from the App Store. So are you/did you upgrade(ing)? Did those solutions work fine for ya?
