Dell Streak

Dell Streak. Dell Streak. Sound like something? Anything? Nudge, nudge. Yeah, that. Funny how if you think a lil' bit, you eventually discover something hilarious. That's why companies gotta be careful w/ their marketing. For more funny streak marketing click here (article in my other blog)

Android 4.2 Rolls Out to Galaxy Nexuses/Nexus 7s

Title says it all. If you own one of the aforementioned Nexuses then you should update now! Here is a list of the new features. You should be prompted. If you're not, then go to Settings>About>System Update>Check for Update. Have Fun! Gandalf: I envy you so much. You're Nexus gets updates so much faster than my Transformer!

Windows Joke-Microsoft Fans, Don't Read

All of you techies probably know that Windows has a reputation for being buggy. Now on to the joke... on the Microsoft site, it says that Windows 8 is built on the 'rock solid' foundation of Windows 7 LOL. Usually, when you think of rock, it's hard, solid and rigid. However, Sedimentary Rock is soft and crumbly. So I kinda modified the marketing to "Windows 8 is built on the sedimentary rock solid foundation of Windows 7!" Nexus 10

That's right, the Nexus 7 now has a big brother, made by Sammy. It obviously runs stock Android 4.2 and has a beastly 10.1" 2560x1600 Super AMOLED screen (AWESOMENESS!) driven by a dual-core 1.7 GHz Exynos 5250 (sorry fellas, no quad-core, however the Exynos 5250 is sufficent enough to keep the thing  running smoothly) w/ 2GB of RAM, has a not-so-epic 5MP 1080p rear facer and a video chat-dedicated front-facing snapper. The Battery is a 9000 mAh one. The back is made of easy-to grip-plastic. And all that for $400 (16GB) and $500 to double the storage.

Gandalf here, reporting on the latest Android Jellybean update.
As Cyberpoodle said, Jellybean now has 'multi-user support' BUT i would not reccomend it as it severly slows your tablet. also, what is the point of having more than one account on a tablet?

Android 4.2-Jelly Bean 2: The New Features

Tablets: Multi-User Support: It's just what it sounds like!

Lock-Screen Widgets: at long last!

Swype Keyboard: Type by swyping from letter to letter, escape the ol' poke-poke method.

Quick Settings: Swipe down from the top right corner (tablet, also, on tablets, swipe down from top left from for notifications, vs the bottom right tap in older versions) or with two fingers from the top (phones) to get basic settings.

Completely redesigned camera: much cooler/clutter free UI.

Photo Sphere: 360° all direction panorama à la street view.

LG Google Nexus 4 is here...for a superb price too

Hey geeks, the long awaited Nexus 4 is finally here! It's made by LG and totally rocks! It boasts a 4.7 inch WXGA (1280x768) Super IPS+, arguably the fastest mobile processor on the market, the beastly quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro (1.5 GHz) with 2 gigs of RAM. The camera has also been upgraded from the Galaxy Nexus' poorly performing 5MP full HD snapper to an 8MP full HD one, which is much better. It also supports NFC and wireless charging which is cool. The price is $300 for 8 gigs and $350 to double the storage and it's UNLOCKED (to get this deal you gotta order the thing from the play store)! That's half the price of other unlocked high-ends (the iPhone 5 starts at 700 bucks, for example. However, there are some minor issues (some may be due to the beta release of Android 4.2 and will probably be fixed by the time the smartphone goes on sale), so I suggest reading some reviews.
