iPad Mini and a Truckload More!

Hey, CyberPoodle here, and yeterday, Apple announced their long awaited iPad Mini! Actually it's basically a giant iPod Touch 5G, same Dual Core A5 chip (Sorry fellas, No A5X, A6 or A6X), same 5MP full HD iSight Camera (an edge over the Nexus 7), same HD facetime camera, same lightning connector, and extreme thinness and lightness. Now the display is obviously bigger than the iTouch, but smaller than the iPad, besting out at 7.9". Sorry, no Retina Display here as it bears iPad 1's and 2's XGA (1024x768) IPS LCD Panel. There's also an LTE version (another edge over the Nexus 7 there), and it starts at $300 for the 16GB Wi-Fi Only model. It runs iOS 6 (obviously) with Siri.

They also announced the iPad 4(!) a bit soon, with a new super duper A6X processor (besting all other iOS devices) and a lightning connector. 'Tsit! Yeah a bit disappointing but it's something. They also unveiled their 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display (a bit late), which is essentially a smaller 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display. And finally there's the new razor thin iMac (no Retina Display, unfortunately), with a faster processor and more storage and less reflective screen.

Transformer Prime and Possibly other Tablets get Simultaneous Video and Photo Capture

Hey Geeks! CyberPoodle here. Today I was shooting this random video on my Transformer Prime (running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean), and saw this video capture icon. I gave it a tap, and it took a pic while I was shooting the video. I bet it probably came with the JB update, as it was absent in ICS. It's probably available on other JB tablets and smart phones (if they happen to have the stock camera that is). It's really awesome! Try it out!

Apple Sends Out Invitations for Next Event, Possibly for the iPad Mini

Hi CyberPoodle here. Apple's got a little more to show us. Yesterday, the tech giant sent out invitations for their next big event, which will be on October 23rd, starting at 10a.m. It will be in California Theatre, San Jose. The star of the show is expected to be the long awaited iPad Mini, although there could, quite possibly, be some cool new Retina Display Macs unveiled. So what do you think? Are you excited? Or do you boo Apple?

Microsoft: Go Mad Marketing!

Hey, CyberPoodle here. OK. I know this sounds crazy, but please try to explain that to Microsoft. Apparently, a guy from there put wheels on his surface tablet and started riding it as a skateboard, to show off how tough it is! He even snapped a few pix (above). Now all they need to do is make a commercial and start selling attachable wheels! Your tablet will be able to transform into a skateboard! How cool (or just plain messed) is that, huh?

How to Make Your Light Switch 'Touch Sensitive'

Okay, Cyberpoodle's back. Today I'll be giving you a tutorial of how to make your light switch 'touch sensitive'. It's super duper easy. Just get it stuck right between on and off mode (maybe either slightly closer to off or to on) then touch the opposite side (like you'd touch your smartphone, and don't be too gentle either). Keep tapping, and as you tap, it should turn on or off every tap. Awesome right? You can easily impress your friends as well.

Organizing, Washing, Buying Socks. There's an app for that!

Yup, there is. No matter how ridiculous that sounds, there is. Hi, it's CyberPoodle, here to bring you the tech news. The app is called Blacksocks, and it's on the App Store (sorry fellow Android users). The app is made by a Swiss sock brand called, you guessed it, Black-socks! Here's how it works: Black-socks apparently have micro chips in their socks(!?). The app scans the chips and tells you every single detail about the footwear. How many times it's been washed, which two are a pair, and even when it's a good time to buy some new ones (read: a clever new marketing strategy). So what do you think? Awesome? Stupid? Useless? Cool but weird?

Android 4.2 and New Nexus Rumors!

Hello geeks! CyberPoodle's here, now bringing you the freshest rumors about, you guessed it, Android 4.2! Now according to some sources, it's due within the next month or two, together with a new Nexus stratergy that involves Google allowing multiple Nexuses by multiple brands. Now there is some proof that the info below is true: Some  Galaxy Nexuses, Nexus 7s, Motorola Occam's (code name for Razr devices,  could be a 'Motorola Razr Nexus') and Motorola Manta's (close to a code name for the Xooms, could be a new 'Motorola Nexus' tablet)  Now the rumored features for Android 4.2 (Could be Key Lime Pie-not necessarily) are:
1.Project RoadRunner- Remember how in Jelly Bean Project butter was meant to make all the operations Buttery smooth (and it did, fellas, it did). Well, Project Roadrunner is supposed to boom battery life. I think it's cool, especially how it's kind of a follow up to Project Butter.
2. Customization center-Now here we get to the juicy, geeky stuff-you'll now be able to get themes for parts of (launchers, icons, backgrounds, languages, ringtones and so on) the entire OS (FINALLY!), including the manufacturer's UX if you buy one of the rumored Nexuses!
3. Video App Overhaul-Need we say more?
4. Play Store Upgrade-The title speaks for itself.
5. Google Now Improvements-I really like Google Now on my Jelly Bean running tablet. Yet I find some features sorely missing.
However I just got Jelly Bean (Expect our review soon!) on my device, but many less fortunate Android owners are just receiving Ice Cream Sandwich (which, you gotta admit, is taking a really long time to roll out). Jelly Bean was enough to get these guys frustrated but 4.2 (Key Lime Pie if you like) very soon is gonna drive 'em nuts!

First Smartphone that's Operational with a Banana!

Hi again geeks! CyberPoodle's back with today's crazy news! Many of you techies have probably heard that Nokia is loosing market share rapidly, and their Windows Phone 8 flagship is probably their last shot at getting back in the game. And this deciding flagship is the Nokia Lumia 920. You also probably know that it has this super sensitive touch screen, amongst many other new technologies. So sensitive, that you can operate it with a banana or fork (although you obviously have to hold the banana or fork)! And Nokia actually advertises the banana operation! In the videos, this actually gets demoed. Also check out the picture above. Now the concern about pocket dialing obviously arises, but Nokia tells us this won't occur. However, this has to be proven before we can believe it.

Here is the pic

Tom Bambadil

Ok so all you lord of the rings geeks know who Tom Bombadil is for those of you who dont he is an utterly usless character. I dont know how J.R.R Tolkein came up with him. Who imagines hobos who sing there heads off and live in the middle of the forest, Not that J.R.R is a wacked character(He is still awsome) but I do not think he needed to write 2 chapters on him.
